Luna Lushede is an eclectic Wiccan coven founded March of 1997. Spirituality is the prime purpose of our coven; we seek to enrich ourselves and those with whom we interact through education, fellowship and camaraderie. As a coven, we envision a better future by promoting our religion within the community at large, and by helping others to better accept and understand both the Wiccan path and the paths of other Pagans. Luna Lushede is based in the Metropolitan Kansas City area. We hold many open rituals, specifically during the eight Sabbats and occasionally, at full moon. If you are a seeker who is interested in attending an open ritual, contact gwenhwyfar.wyrrd@lunalushede.org for more information. You may also click the graphic below to join the announcement list. |

All rituals are family friendly and casual. We have many children of
all ages that attend our rituals. Dress is casual or ritual wear,
whichever you prefer. New comers are welcome at all times, and do not
have to stand in ritual if they prefer to watch from outside of the
circle.
All Sabbats (except Mabon when we collect canned food instead) have a
feast afterwards (except Samhain when we feast first) with the main
dish provided and pot-luck asked for on side-dishes and deserts.

Next Open Ritual

Luna Lushede would like to invite you to our annual Open Imbolc Ritual.
Please join us as we celebrate Imbolg, Brighid's Day, the Midwinter.
Thorgo, the High Priest of Elohim Lushede, has graciously volunteered
to lead this event for us. I am not sure what he has up his sleeve,
but am sure that it will be spectacular.
We will be supplying potato soup for the dinner. Please
bring along a side dish and/or desert, as well as a drink for
yourself (or to share). We will provide the plates, cups, napkins,
silverware and ice.
As always we will have the donation cauldron available for love donations
that go toward keeping our open rituals possible. We will have another raffle
for this one, the Peng1 Lady is donating a few more pieces of her jewelry,
we have a handmade ritual robe donated by ??, but thank you, it is lovely, and a
few other hand made items donated for fundraising.
We would also like to remind everyone of the LIMRS Food Pantry. Although this is a food
pantry, cleaning supplies and toileteries might also be appreciated. Suggestions are dish
soap, scrub pads, floor cleaner, general-purpose cleanser, laundry soap, dryer
sheets, bleach, etc... Food items are, of course, needed and appreciated.
You may bring items to ritual or talk with J. about dropping items off.
We thank you for continuing to help families that are in need in our community.
We look forward to seeing you all!
