Luna Lushede is an eclectic Wiccan coven founded March of 1997. Spirituality is the prime purpose of our coven; we seek to enrich ourselves and those with whom we interact through education, fellowship and camaraderie. As a coven, we envision a better future by promoting our religion within the community at large, and by helping others to better accept and understand both the Wiccan path and the paths of other Pagans. Luna Lushede is based in the Metropolitan Kansas City area. We hold many open rituals, specifically during the eight Sabbats and occasionally, at full moon. If you are a seeker who is interested in attending an open ritual, contact gwenhwyfar.wyrrd@lunalushede.org for more information. You may also click the graphic below to join the announcement list. |

All rituals are family friendly and casual. We have many children of
all ages that attend our rituals. Dress is casual or ritual wear,
whichever you prefer. New comers are welcome at all times, and do not
have to stand in ritual if they prefer to watch from outside of the
circle.
All Sabbats (except Mabon when we collect canned food instead) have a
feast afterwards (except Samhain when we feast first) with the main
dish provided and pot-luck asked for on side-dishes and deserts.

"This is the time of the Spring's return; the joyful time, the seedtime, when life bursts forth from the Earth and the chains of winter are broken. Light and dark are equal; it is a time of balance, when all the elements within us must be brought into a new harmony. The Prince of the Sun stretches out his hand, and the Dark Maiden, returns from the Land of the Dead, cloaked in fresh rain, with the sweet scent of desire on her breath. Where They step, the wild flowers appear; as They dance, despair turns to hope, sorrow to joy, want to abundance. May our hearts open with the spring! Blessed Be!" - Quote from Herbal Musings
You are invited to Join the Lushede Grove as we celebrate the return of Spring. Calleich is preparing to lay down her staff and life will again be returning to the Earth. Come help us regale this magnificent change in the season. Potluck to follow, we will be providing ham for the main course, paper plates, napkins, silverware, and cups. We also have some pop that has been donated for the event. Please bring a side, dessert or both and drinks for yourself or to share.
We will again be accepting donations for the LIMRS pagan food pantry. This is a wonderful community service provided by the local coven Jera Kenaz Lunae. Although it is a “food” pantry, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other items would also be greatly appreciated and utilized. Please remember that food items should preferably be healthy and nonperishable. All donations will be promptly delivered to this group to provide for needy families in our community.
We will be holding a raffle again for this event to offset the cost of the space and providing the main dish for the event. Love donations, as always, are GREATLY appreciated.
Hope to see you all there!!!!
